‘This is madness’: Medical lobby pushes for Australian gas ban

News24 host Danica De Giorgio says the idea to phase out fossil gas and halt new projects is “madness”.

​“We can’t just phase out gas without a plan to keep the lights on,” Ms De Giorgio said.

​“The more we rely on renewables, the more we need gas generation.”
