‘They will be surprised’: Iran issues chilling response after Trump rejects latest proposal
US President Donald Trump said the ceasefire with Iran remains fragile after the US rejected Iran’s latest proposal.
Mr Trump described the proposal as ‘stupid’ and said Iran had not met key US demands relating to its nuclear program.
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf has responded on X.
“Our armed forces are ready to deliver a well-deserved response to any aggression; mistaken strategy and mistaken decisions will always lead to mistaken results— the whole world has already figured this out,” Mr Ghalibaf said.
“We are prepared for all options; they will be surprised.”
