‘Terrible sportsmanship’: Ireland’s Israel protest branded ‘ignorant’ and hateful
Centre of the American Experiment President John Hinderaker condemns Ireland’s conduct during the Israel match, arguing politics has been injected into sport in a hateful way.
“It is terrible sportsmanship,” Mr Hinderaker told News24 host Rita Panahi.
“For some reason, Ireland is one of the most antisemitic countries in the world.
“You hate to see politics injected into sports like this, especially in such a hateful way.
“It’s so ignorant.”
