The United Arab Emirates says it has intercepted Iranian missiles for the first time since the US-Iran ceasefire.
A large fire has also broken out at the key UAE oil port Fujairah, after it was hit by a drone attack from Iran.
The US said Iran had failed to interfere with commercial shipping and two US-flagged merchant vessels have “successfully transited through the Strait of Hormuz”.
