Five teenagers have been charged with affray, violent disorder, intentionally cause serious injury and intentionally cause injury after a 60-year-old man was critically injured following an assault in Melbourne’s west yesterday.

Shop owners said the victim attempted to stop the group of teenagers who allegedly stole from a nearby clothing store in Sunshine before he was set upon.
