Taxpayers slugged $95 million as Victoria rolls out free overdose drug vending machines
Sky News host Danica De Giorgio discusses the Victorian government’s rollout of a trial of free naloxone vending machines across metropolitan and regional areas to reverse opioid overdoses.
“I’m baffled at this, so first we’ve got machete bins to deal with the machete crisis, and now we’ve got vending machines to deal with the opioid crisis,” Ms De Giorgio said.
“Is this a Victorian government that’s just running out of ideas … and at a cost of $95 million for a state that is already broke?”
