Over the past 48 hours, four shark attacks have occurred across NSW, causing the continuation of beach closures in Sydney. Three Nationals senators—Ross Cadell, Susan McDonald and Bridget McKenzie—have resigned from the Coalition frontbench after defying shadow Cabinet by voting against the government’s hate speech laws in the Senate.
