Sussan Ley defends leadership as Coalition implodes

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley says she will continue in the role, despite increasing scrutiny and a growing rift between the Liberals and the Nationals.

“The door is not closed, but my eye is not on the door, my eye is on the work,” Ms Ley said.

This comes after National Leader David Littleproud called the Coalition “untenable” and his party will not join a shadow ministry under Ms Ley.
