‘Surprise, surprise’: Snowy Hydro 2.0 has met ‘numerous difficulties’

Victoria Energy Policy Centre Director Bruce Mountain says the Snowy Hydro 2.0 has encountered “numerous difficulties” and that the project was never realistically costed in the first place.

“I don’t think the project was ever realistically costed in the first place,” Dr Mountain told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Had they plausibly costed in the first place, I think we’d have a meaningful base to move from … surprise, surprise … they’ve met numerous difficulties.”
