‘Stringent checks’ need to be put upon new migrants coming to Australia

Nationals MP Michael McCormack says Australia needs a “planning and a population summit” to manage the spike in migrants coming to Australia.

“We’ve got 1221 coming into this country every day,” Mr McCormack said.

“We need to absolutely make sure whoever is coming into this country is having stringent checks and balances put upon them.”
