Stars of fashion and film attend Valentino’s funeral
A who’s who of the fashion world gathered in Rome to farewell designer Valentino Garavani.
Devil Wears Prada actress Anne Hathaway, former Vogue editor Anna Wintour, and British star Elizabeth Hurley were among those attending the funeral at the Basilica of Saint Mary of the Angels and Martyrs.
Mr Garavani’s coffin, draped in white roses and lilies, was carried into the church to the sound of Mozart.
The iconic designer died at his Rome home earlier this week, aged 93.
