Small-time criminals revealed to be behind Louvre heist
New details have revealed that the Louvre museum heist was executed by small-time criminals rather than any professionals linked to organised crime.
A French prosecutor has found that one of the suspects had 10 convictions for theft, but his profile didn’t match that of a high-level organised criminal.
Police have now arrested three people in relation to the daylight robbery of priceless jewels from the Louvre and are looking for one more suspect.
