‘Serious threat to free speech’: Coalition blasts Labor’s ‘draconian’ legislation

Shadow Communications Minister Sarah Henderson warns Labor’s proposed social media laws could threaten free speech and give the government greater control over what Australians see and say online.

“This is a serious threat to free speech,” Ms Henderson told News24.

“We will oppose this draconian legislation, which is a serious threat to free speech and, of course, continues Labor’s insidious agenda of controlling what we say and what we see online.”
