School cyber attack; ISIS brides return; deadly bus crash verdict | 7NEWS


A major cyber attack on Q-Learn, an online learning portal used by Queensland state schools, has exposed the names, email addresses and school locations of more than half a million current and past students and teachers dating back to 2020. The hacking group Shiny Hunters, known for targeting major companies including Ticketmaster and Microsoft, claimed responsibility for the breach affecting 275 million users globally across 9,000 institutions. Four Australian women and their nine children who travelled to Syria during the ISIS conflict have returned to Australia, with three mothers facing potential criminal charges while authorities implement resettlement and rehabilitation programs for the children.
