Russia-Ukraine ceasefire at risk | US-Iran naval confrontations continue
Donald Trump has announced a three-day ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine, saying he hopes it will be the “beginning of the end” of the war.
The ceasefire will allow both sides to mark Victory Day this week which commemorates the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in World War II.
But both sides have accused each other of violating the terms.
