Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has suggested he won’t be considering retirement anytime soon as he sets his eyes on an ambition to score 1,000 goals.
Speaking at the Portugal Football Globes Gala, the 40-year-old football star said even though his family told him “it’s time to quit”, he is determined to stay in the game and “enjoy it to the fullest”.
“I am certain that when I finish, I’m going to feel fulfilled because I gave everything I had until I couldn’t give anymore.”
