Regional areas ‘outperforming’ capital cities in Australia’s housing market
REA Group Senior Economist Anne Flaherty says regional areas “outperform” capital cities in the housing market around Australia.
Ms Flaherty said this occurs in “most states”.
“I think a lot of this is to do with the fact that we’re still seeing positive net migration away from capital cities into the regions.”
