Alleged Melbourne tobacco wars kingpin Kazem Hamad is in Iraqi custody, but two mugshot images released by the Australian Federal Police have raised serious questions about their authenticity. One photo shows a height chart suggesting Hamad is 8 feet 9 inches tall, with apparent digital anomalies including distorted fingers and neckline. The AFP has not verified the images from Iraqi authorities, while Hamad’s alleged crime syndicate faces internal conflict back in Melbourne, where his operation is linked to numerous tobacco store firebombings.
