Qantas ground workers begin strike for 24 hours
Hundreds of Qantas ground workers will walk off the job for 24 hours again this morning demanding an urgent reset on pay, job security and safety.
It’s the latest action to follow similar strikes earlier this month, with major airports in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth affected today.
Workers will begin striking at 6am.
