Footage circulating online showed molotov cocktails being thrown at a local television station’s building in Isfahan, Iran.
People mourned as dozens of bodies were laid out at the Kahrizak Forensic Medicine Center in Iran’s Tehran Province, amid a crackdown by Iranian security forces on anti-government protests.
Iran’s state media broadcast footage said to show scenes of aftermath of protests in several major cities.
The state media coverage coincided with statements from Iranian authorities accusing the United States and Israel of inciting the recent protests, which they called “terrorist actions.”
