Tomorrow marks the 30th anniversary of the Port Arthur Massacre, Australia’s deadliest shooting by a single person that claimed 35 lives. A private service called ‘Words of Love’ will be held at the memorial garden built around the remnants of the Broad Arrow Cafe, where 20 people were killed in 90 seconds. Survivors including Cathy Gordon and Anita Bingham share their ongoing struggles with PTSD and trauma, speaking out to ensure Australians remember the lessons of that tragic day.
