Political pressure mounts on Keir Starmer as calls grow for his resignation
The Australian Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan weighs in on the growing calls for UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to resign.
“Starmer is now more unpopular than any of the conservative prime ministers when they were going through their sort of, you know, rolodex of leaders,” Mr Sheridan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“He became unpopular incredibly quickly; he has no ear for politics. The stuff about Mandelson is completely unbelievable.
“I think Starmer will go; their big problem, of course, is that they have no obvious successor.”
