Australia has helped launch a push for world leaders to take action on climate change.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has landed in Fiji to attend the pre-COP gathering that’s being held ahead of the high-stakes annual UN climate talks in Türkiye.
But the government is continuing to face criticism over the event, with critics branding it a “waste of money”.
