A commercial plane carrying 224 passengers and seven crew has fatally struck a pedestrian who moved into its path during take-off – leaving “limbs” scattered on the runway at Denver International Airport in the US.
The unidentified person had jumped a perimeter fence and was hit by an airplane taking off, according to the airport.
“Tower, Frontier 4345, we’re stopping on the runway. Uh, we just hit somebody… we have an engine fire,” a pilot told air traffic controllers, according to audio from ATC.com.
