‘Pitiful’: Iran war exposes NATO’s ‘weakness’ as allies fail to support the US

Sky News host Rita Panahi has hit out at the “pitiful” and “weak” UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.

This comes after Mr Starmer and France’s President Emmanuel Macron hosted allies from dozens of countries to discuss a defensive mission to safeguard the Strait of Hormuz.

“The recent weeks has exposed the weakness of the entire NATO alliance. When it mattered, those NATO allies were missing,” Ms Panahi said.

“You’re supposed to be there when called upon.”
