Pets take flight on Virgin’s Adelaide service | 7NEWS
Virgin Australia has launched its first pet-friendly flight between Adelaide and Melbourne, allowing dogs and cats to travel in the cabin with their owners. Chihuahuas named Pickle and Jet were among the first passengers on the inaugural service, occupying specially designated window seats in rows 18 and 20. The airline has already transported approximately 1,500 pets accident-free on its Melbourne to Gold Coast and Melbourne to Sunshine Coast routes, with plans to expand the Pets in Cabins program to all flight routes.
