Dangerous incidents at Perth rail crossings have more than doubled in the past year, with 160 events recorded from 2024 to 2025. Recent footage shows trucks destroying crossing gates, vehicles trapped in front of incoming trains, and pedestrians narrowly avoiding collisions. The worst locations include McIver, Gosnells and Burswood for pedestrians, while Mosman Park and Victoria Street stations top the list for vehicle incidents.
