A group of men attacked travellers with pepper spray at Heathrow Airport’s Terminal 3, injuring five people in a rampage that began with a woman being robbed of her suitcase in a lift. Police conducted a large-scale manhunt in the multi-level car park with heavily armed officers searching vehicles door-to-door, arresting a 31-year-old man within nine minutes of the emergency call. The incident caused widespread disruption with road closures and suspended underground rail services, while paramedics treated 21 people for minor injuries including a three-year-old girl.
