People warned to not be reliant on AI
Apple’s virtual assistant Siri was one of the first mainstream efforts at integrating AI technology into a product.
However, people are now being told to handle AI with care and not become too reliant on it.
“People are over-trusting these systems and taking their responses on face value,” Cognizant Chief AI Officer Babak Hodjat said.
“It’s incumbent upon all of us to learn what are the boundaries.”
This comes as some of the tech world’s biggest names gathered in Lisbon for the 2025 Web Summit, which is a sprawling showcase of the latest technology and ideas.
