Paramount agrees to delay takeover of Warner Brothers amid legal challenge
Paramount have announced it will delay its takeover of Warner Brothers.
Pending lawsuits by several states and the Writers Guild of America have forced the merger to be delayed until June 2027 or until a trial has taken place.
Those filing the lawsuits claim the deal would reduce competition within the industry.
