Parachutist falls to ground in front of crowd after getting tangled
A parachutist fell to the ground after becoming tangled in netting during dramatic pre-game entertainment at the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas, on Friday, January 2.
Keff Ciardello captured this footage of one skydiver safely entering Amon G. Carter Stadium before another finds themselves caught in the netting of a field goal.
The video shows the parachutist briefly bouncing up in the air before their parachute comes free, sending them plummeting to the ground. Spectators are heard reacting with concern.
Drew Harris, the director of the Armed Forces Bowl, said the skydiver walked away from the incident, according to reports. Storyful contacted the Armed Forces Bowl for comment.
