Over 700 arrested in domestic violence crackdown | 7NEWS
New South Wales Police arrested 732 people and laid 1,500 charges during Operation Amarok 14, a three-day statewide crackdown on domestic violence offenders. More than 70% of those arrested were men, with police conducting 12,000 apprehended domestic violence order compliance checks and identifying over 500 breaches. The operation resulted in the seizure of 118 firearms and 16 other weapons from homes of licence holders who had committed domestic violence offences.
