OpenAI agent hacked Australian government website, Albanese reveals
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese revealed an agent linked to ChatGPT developer OpenAI has hacked into a Medicare portal, about three months ago.
Describing the incident as unprecedented, Albanese said that Australia only learned of the matter when told by OpenAI.
“No personal information is believed to have been accessed at this stage, but investigations are ongoing.” Albanese told the press.
