Oleshky evacuees repatriated to Ukrainian-held territory | ABC NEWS
Evacuees from the war-torn city of Oleshky have been reunited with loved ones in Ukrainian-held territory during a ceasefire in the southern Kherson region brokered by US First Lady Melania Trump.
Ukrainian residents were repatriated by bus from Belarus after being flown out of the Russian-occupied city, while supplies were given to those who chose to stay.
The pause in fighting marks the most significant truce between Moscow and Kyiv since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began in 2022.
