October 7 commemoration held in Canberra
Senior diplomats, current ministers and a former Opposition leader have attended a commemoration in Canberra to mark two years since the October 7 attacks.
This comes amid the tentative peace deal between Israel and Palestine brokered by US President Donald Trump.
Israel Ambassador to Australia Amir Maimon said he is “very happy” to see the living hostages returned to their families.
