NZ PM Luxon survives confidence vote but leadership questions remain | The World | ABC News
New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has announced he has the full support of his party and will remain the National Party leader after surviving another confidence vote.
The announcement came after an “urgent” National Party caucus meeting was held on Wednesday morning in Wellington.
The meeting was called after a series of missteps from the Prime Minister.
Richard Shaw, Professor of politics at Massey University told The World’s Girish Sawlani there are still dissenting voices within the National Party that don’t want Mr Luxon to lead them.
