NSW, Victoria and SA to receive heaviest rain in over a decade | ABC NEWS
Angus Hines from the Bureau of Meteorology says an unusual weather system is bringing rain usually seen only in the far north tropics to the southern and eastern parts of the territory and the far west of Queensland. Severe weather warnings remain for those areas for further heavy rainfall tonight and into the weekend.
South Australia can expect heavy rain over the weekend as the system moves south. Rain is also expected to increase across southeastern Australia and western Victoria, with over 100mm forecast in many locations.
