NSW Police unveil new tactical vessels
NSW Police Marine Area Command has unveiled two new tactical patrol boats.
Based in Newcastle and Port Kembla, the vessels will boost maritime policing, search and rescue, and counter‑terrorism along the state’s coastline.
The $1.8 million upgrade replaces rigid‑hulled inflatable boats that have been in service for more than 15 years.
