NSW considers extra public holiday for Anzac Day weekends | 7NEWS
New South Wales Premier Chris Minns is considering introducing a special one-off public holiday when Anzac Day falls on weekends, specifically for this year when it falls on Saturday and next year when it falls on Sunday. The proposal would give workers the following Monday off for at least the next two years, though businesses have raised concerns about the economic impact. New South Wales currently has the fewest public holidays in Australia with 12, compared to some states that have 15.
