North Queensland on cyclone watch
The chances of a tropical low weather system developing into a cyclone off the coast of North Queensland have increased to “likely,” prompting the weather bureau to issue an official cyclone warning.
The tropical low is moving through the Coral Sea, following southwards.
The chances of the system developing into a tropical cyclone increased to 60 per cent.
