‘No thank you’: Teenagers awarded $550,000 after being left hanging upside down
News24 host Danica De Giorgio reacts to two US teenagers winning a $550,000 lawsuit after being left suspended upside down on a theme park ride for 30 minutes.
“How would you like to be upside down on a joyride, or a theme park for 30 minutes hanging upside down? No, thank you,” Ms De Giorgio said.
“Two teenagers in the US in Oregon have won a lawsuit after that’s exactly what happened to them.
“They were all suspended upside down like that for 30 minutes and they have just won $550,000 awarded by a US Jury.”
