Nigel Farage claims Brexit ‘earthquake’ continues to shake British politics
Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage claims Brexit was an “earthquake” in British politics, arguing that its “aftershocks” continue to rattle the major parties.
“We are really in a dreadful mess. Brexit was an earthquake in British politics. The aftershocks are still being felt in both the Labour and Conservative parties, or frankly, what’s left of them,” Mr Farage told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“The promises of Brexit, the easy wins like controlling our borders. The easy wins like getting rid of excessive bureaucracy and red tape. These were all things British governments could do with the freedom of Brexit, and they’ve chosen not to do it.”
