Nicolas Maduro to appear in Manhattan federal court
Ousted Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro could front a Manhattan federal court on Monday, US time.
He was captured along with his wife Cilia Flores in an operation led by the US military.
They are currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.
He’s facing federal criminal charges related to drug trafficking, weapons offences, and working with terrorist gangs.
