‘New normal’: Retirees are moving into high rises

Sky News host Freya Leach says the trend of retirees moving into high rises “makes sense”.

“A big thing for retirees is they want to be near their families, their grandkids, people who can visit them,” Ms Leach said.

“If young families with kids are living in apartment buildings, why can’t retirees?”

“This seems to be the new normal for a lot of people in Australia now.”
