Jarrod Sandell-Hay is among the many NDIS participants concerned about cost-cutting changes to the scheme that would see less money available for what are known as social and community participation supports.
These supports — which the government says accounts for more than a fifth of all spending on the NDIS — include the funding of support workers to take participants to appointments, work and social activities.
