NBC’s Savannah Guthrie breaks down during emotional plea for return of her missing mother
NBC ‘Today’ co-host Savannah Guthrie has given an emotional plea for the return of her missing mother, Nancy Guthrie.
Joined alongside family, they expressed that they heard there was a “ransom note” but could not confirm, expressing that in this day and age, things could be manipulated.
Nancy Guthrie, aged 84, was last seen at her Tucson residence in Arizona, according to the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
Speaking directly to the alleged kidnappers, the family said they were “ready to talk” but need to know “without a doubt” Nancy Guthrie is alive.
“We, too, have heard the reports about a ransom letter in the media. As a family, we are doing everything that we can … however, we live in a world where voices and images are easily manipulated,” Savannah said.
