MPs cancelling their own travel to preserve fuel and lead by example for Australians
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will be giving a rare and significant address to the nation on Wednesday at 7 pm.
It will be a recorded message that will play out across the country.
This comes at a crucial time, given the conflict in Iran and the global economic crisis.
It is suggested Prime Minister Albanese will focus largely on Australia’s response to the Middle East conflict, and encourage Australians to play their part by saving fuel for the areas and industries that need it.
Sky News Australia has been told that ministers are beginning to cancel their own travel to preserve fuel.
