MOU labelled ‘very damaging’ to American and Western interests
Former foreign affairs minister Alexander Downer believes the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was “very damaging” to America and its interests.
“Donald Trump is completely right to be taking this decisive action now,” Mr Downer told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“It was a very weak memorandum.
“It should have never been signed by the Americans.”
