New shark mitigation measures will be rolled out along the NSW coast. Two shark detection buoys have been installed in Sydney Harbour and there’ll be expanded shark drone surveillance at more than 90 beaches.
Professor Culum Brown has welcomed the program, saying it’s a great way of intervening early with more than 750 sharks have already been spotted as part of the shark drone surveillance scheme.
