Met Police investigating claims of Prince Andrew’s ‘disgusting’ attempts to smear accuser

SkyNews.com.au columnist Louise Roberts has commented on a “very, very serious allegation” against Prince Andrew which has recently emerged.

The Metropolitan Police is investigating reports that in 2011, Prince Andrew allegedly asked a royal close protection officer to dig up dirt on Virginia Giuffre.

“It’s also quite disgusting that he was apparently going to these lengths using taxpayer-funded palace security to dig up dirt, to dig up her social security number, her date of birth,” Ms Roberts told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“And find out anything her could to try and discredit a woman who, of course, [he] still denies ever meeting in person despite the photographic evidence to the contrary.”
